Simon thanks for reading and commenting. There is tons of tree skiing to be had at WMR! I'm hoping to start dipping my toes into local (saving vacay resources for a Philippines trip this summer) gladed runs this off season and start working on getting confidence in the trees. There are also runs that are narrow in which you are never far from the trees. Moose is one such run and at one point I thought we were in for some real tree skiing, it was just a narrow point in the trail with some trees in it.

I also find by the time you get to the bottom of the "ant hill" and perhaps at worse half-way down Whitetail the fog noticeably lightens up.

Nicely broken down, I love how you've commented on everything including the lighting! Good to know that three chairs doesn't count as fog! Was there much tree skiing? That is always my go to on foggy days....

Kristen, thanks for reading and sharing the review.

It really brought skiing back to life for me and I enjoyed everything about the trip (except for maybe the shortened day 2 and the skitchy road moments in Glacier National Park). Not only did I ski like never before (plus the hearty helping of powder skiing) but we also visited family and friends on this trip.

We stopped by Bridger Bowl and the way home and I basked in the shadows of that place, I guess as long as I stay off of Slashmans I would be just fine there too. Were you able to ski Bridger Bowl when you in the neighborhood?
