When do Wisconsin Ski Resorts Open?

Wisconsin ski resorts typically open in mid-November and usually by Christmas time. Including the resorts in the southern-most counties in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula that opening can be as early as Halloween. Of course there is no official definition and the opening dates vary by the weather conditions. The resorts in the northern part of the state get colder first and usually open before the southern resorts.
