Breaking News. The main lodge at Boyne Highlands suffered a structure fire overnight. Initial reports are sketchy but they do include reports of injured guests. No word on the cause or the extent of the damage.
The initial report I saw was from The Michigan Ski Report and this is the first news report I read on this horrific event.
The Wisconsin Skier hopes and prays the injuries are all minor and the the damage not severe.
UPDATES
- 12:27 PM US CST — Further reporting informs us there were twelve injuries with one person being hospitalized. The reports go onto say the person hospitalized did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
