Missed the Men’s Downhill! BLAST IT!

2010 WINTER OLYMPICS
The 2010 WINTER OLYMPICS
Ahhh, early today was the men’s downhill competition.

One of my tweeties noted NBC did not carry the event live, but was going to rebroadcast this evening and then the tweetie announced Bode Miller won the bronze medal.

I was fine with the rebroadcast but not so happy with the announcement, but even that was not going to keep me from watching the event. After all, I am more interested in watching it from the ski fanatics point of view. I was hoping to provide sharp and insightful analysis of the skiing.

Instead, I was belted into my vehicle returning home from distant locations where I was toiling to earn my lift tickets. GRUMBLE GRUMBLE GRUMBLE! I will visit NBC and see if they have the event video online.

WRONG! IT APPEARS THE VIDEOS ARE ONLINE BUT REQUIRE THE CURRENT RELEASE OF MS SILVERLIGHT, I CAN ONLY OBTAIN AN OLDER RELEASE FOR MY SYSTEM.

I was going to make it easy for my growing readership to go to the NBC website, but I refrain from that now.

Good Stuff!
